RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution NO. HA 2024-001, appointing a Chairperson and a Vice-Chairperson of the Fontana Housing Authority for a term of one year.

COUNCIL GOALS:

DISCUSSION:
The Fontana Housing Authority adopted and approved the Housing Authority bylaws on June 7, 1994, which provided, among other things, the appointment of chairperson and vice-chairperson.
The bylaws of the Housing Authority stipulate that the Authority must nominate a new chairperson and vice-chairperson to serve for a term of one year. The current chair and vice-chairperson were appointed in January 2023.
