RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution No. PFA 2024-001, appointing a Chairperson and a Vice-Chairperson of the Fontana Public Financing Authority for a term of one year.

DISCUSSION:
The Fontana Public Financing Authority is a public body, corporate and politic, duly established and authorized to transact business and exercise its powers, all pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California (Part 1 of Division 24, commencing with Section 33000, et seq., of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California).
The Public Financing Authority by-laws stipulate that the Authority must nominate a new chairperson and vice-chairperson each year to serve for a term of one year. The current chairperson and vice-chairperson were appointed in January 2023.
