COUNCIL GOALS:
• To invest in the City’s infrastructure (streets, sewers, parks, etc.) by maintaining and improving the city's existing infrastructure.
DISCUSSION:
The Public Works Department Utilities and Streets Division secured a raffle prize from Goldstar Asphalt Products during a recent gathering of the regional Maintenance Superintendent Association. Goldstar Asphalt Products graciously conducted a raffle, offering a LineLazer V 3900 Line Striper to all participating cities and Fontana emerged as the fortunate winner. This specialized striper will play a crucial role in marking parking lots and be a valuable asset for the department's efforts in maintaining the many parking lots across the city.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The fiscal impact associated with the approval of this item is an increase in capital fixed assets of $9,250 which is the value of the donated equipment.
