COUNCIL GOALS:
• Improve public safety by increasing operational efficiency, visibility and availability.
• Operate in a businesslike manner by creating a memorable customer experience with every interaction.
DISCUSSION:
This policy was updated in September 2023 but in discussing those proposed changes it became clear that additional edits were still needed. This update addresses those needed edits.
The updates to the City Council Meeting Policy are primarily to ensure alignment of the policy with the Brown Act as well as current safety and accessibility compliance needs.

There is no fiscal impact from this policy update
