The Lewis Library & Technology Center entry stairs is in desperate need of new precast entry stairs. The stairs are showing signs of cracks, chips, and damage in multiple areas of the stair entry. The bidding process for the Fontana Lewis Library & Technology Center Entry Precast Stair Replacement bid (PW-24-227-SB) was conducted by City staff in May and June 2024. Five hundred twenty-seven (527) vendors were notified of the bid. Bid packets were downloaded/received by twenty-four (24) vendors and we received four (4) bid responses. Thirty-one (31) Fontana vendors were notified. One (1) Fontana vendor response was received. The bid closed on Thursday, May 23, 2024, and the City received a total of four (4) bids.
