Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Easement with Southern California Edison (SCE) Company.

COUNCIL GOALS:
• To invest in the City’s infrastructure (streets, sewers, parks, etc.) by maintaining and improving the city's existing infrastructure.
• To invest in the City’s infrastructure (streets, sewers, parks, etc.) by providing for the development of new infrastructure.
DISCUSSION:
On June 2, 2020, the City of Fontana Planning Commission approved MCN No. 15-078 and Design Review No. 16-003 to consolidate twelve parcels into two parcels and a remainder parcel, totaling approximately 83 acres for the development of a new commerce building totaling approximately 1,171,788 square feet. To adhere to the conditions of approval, the developer is constructing intersection improvements at Sierra Avenue and Coyote Canyon Road (formerly Lytle Creek Road).
As part of the construction intersection improvements, the developer must acquire an easement from SCE and get California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) approval for said improvements.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the approval of this item.
