This contract amendment will increase the total authorized contract amount to $823,377.18.
Construction began in January 2024 and was substantially completed in June 2024. During construction, several unforeseen circumstances warranted the issuance of contract change orders in the total amount of $109,397.18. Change orders included adjustments of pole types, pole locations, and conduit locations to avoid existing underground utilities discovered during construction. A final change order request for costs related to conduit location adjustments with additional notification signs and extension of striping to match existing has been submitted in the amount of $58,856.82 which will exceed the balance of the original authorized contingency.
The project was successfully completed for a final contract amount of $823,377.18. All work has been completed to the City’s satisfaction.
