Adopt Resolution No. 2025-092, declaring a portion of certain real property on Sierra Avenue a public right-of-way and accepting it into the City Street System.

COUNCIL GOALS:
• To promote economic development by being business friendly at all levels and striving to constantly improve the city's competitiveness.
• To invest in the City’s infrastructure (streets, sewers, parks, etc.) by maintaining and improving the city's existing infrastructure.
DISCUSSION:
On January 30, 2001, the City acquired title to a portion of certain parcel of real property located on Sierra Avenue within the City of Fontana, County of San Bernardino, commonly known as Assessor Parcel Number 024036165 (Property). Since that time, the City has utilized the Property for public right-of-way, primarily for street purposes. However, the Property had never formally been declared a public right-of-way nor was it explicitly accepted into the City’s Street System under California Streets and Highways Code Section 1806.
This resolution formalizes the existing public use and status of the Property.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the approval of this item.
