COUNCIL GOALS:
• Operate in a businesslike manner by creating a memorable customer experience with every interaction.
• Invest in the City’s infrastructure (streets, sewers, parks, etc.) by creating and promoting community through people, parks, and programs.
DISCUSSION:
The City has issued a request for proposal for the design work to create an interactive children’s museum within the existing Fontana Lewis Library & Technology Center. The intent is to enhance an underutilized portion of the library that fronts Sierra Avenue and encourage families to frequent the facility and downtown amenities.
For years, the Previti Family has invested and developed communities within Fontana. The naming of the Children’s Museum would recognize their contributions towards the growth of Fontana.
