RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Adopt reinstated Resolution No. 2026-072, 2026-073, 2026-074, of the City Council of the City of Fontana, California. Authorize the City Clerk to replace the previous resolution with the corrected version and direct the Finance Department to implement the corrected resolution in the upcoming tax billing cycle.

DISCUSSION:
During the recent City Council meeting held on July 14, 2026, Resolution No. 2026-072, 2026-073, and 2026-074 were passed for the mandatory placement of rubbish, nuisance, and weed abatement charges on the San Bernardino County Property Tax Roll for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. However, it has come to staff’s attention that there was a typographical error in the resolution.
For clarity, the purpose of this agenda item is to reinstate resolutions to correct the typographical error to be consistent with July 14, 2026, Council Action.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact anticipated from the correction of this typographical error. The corrected resolutions ensure the accurate collection of charges as initially intended.
