RECOMMENDATION:
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution No. 2022-003 a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Fontana ratifying the Confirmation of Understanding (COU) between the City of Fontana and Management Confidential Employees.

COUNCIL GOALS:

DISCUSSION:
The City has concluded negotiations with Management Confidential employees. City staff and representatives of the Management Confidential Unit have agreed on terms and conditions of employment outlined in the new Confirmation of Understanding (COU). Staff is recommending the formal ratification of the new agreement.
The new COU is for the period of July 1, 2021, through June 30, 2023. Among the highlights of the new contract is a salary increase of 1.25%, effective July 2022.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The costs associated with the approval of this item for Fiscal Year 21/22 are estimated to be $112,770 and will be included with the Mid-Year Budget Report.
