Recommendation
Accept monetary and gift donations from multiple donors including community programs, business, and citizens.

COUNCIL GOALS:
• Improve public safety by increasing operational efficiency, visibility and availability.
• Improve public safety by emphasizing community-oriented policing, community involvement, and youth programs.
DISCUSSION:
The Fontana Police Department received various donations including foods, drinks, snack items, gift cards, various tickets to services & entertainment venues, miscellaneous household items, pet food, and monetary donations to charity. Please reference the attached spreadsheet for the complete list of generous donations which help support the Police Department and its various programs.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Increase funds to the following accounts:
• $500 for National Night Out program, deposited to account #101.3301
• $20,100 for Holiday fund, deposited to account #101.3308
• $500 for Volunteer Appreciation, deposited to account #101.3315
MOTION:
Approve staff recommendation.
