RECOMMENDATION:

Recommendation

1.                     Adopt Reinstated Resolution No. 2026-062, 2026-063, 2026-064, 2026-065, 2026-066, 2026-058, of the City Council of the City of Fontana, California.

 

2.                     Authorize the City Clerk to replace the previous resolution with the corrected version at the request of the San Bernardino County Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector to include additional language.

COUNCIL GOALS:

                     Practice sound fiscal management by fully funding liabilities and reserves.

                     Practice sound fiscal management by developing long-term funding and debt management plans.

                     Enhance the local environment for future generations and create a healthy economic and environmental future by promoting programs that encourage reducing Green House Gas emissions.

 

DISCUSSION:

On June 23, 2026, the City Council conducted the duly noticed public hearing pursuant to State law to authorize the Fiscal Year 2026-27 annual levies. Following the public hearing, the City Council adopted the following resolutions: 2026-062, 2026-063, 2026-064, 2026-065, 2026-066, and 2026-058 authorizing the levy of special tax within Community Facilities District No. 1 (Southridge Village) for Fiscal Year 2026-2027.

​There are no other changes to the assessments, levies, or other provisions previously approved by the City Council. The reinstated resolutions are being presented solely to incorporate the additional language requested by the County and facilitate completion of the levy enrollment process.

 

FISCAL IMPACT:

There is no fiscal impact associated with the approval of this item.
