The proposed improvements for the Randall Avenue Street Improvement Project consisted of full depth removal and replacement of the asphalt from Catawba Avenue to Citrus Avenue, new ADA curb ramps, and the addition of new sidewalks that didn’t previously exist. The project added new sidewalks near Citrus Elementary School, brought our ADA curb ramps up to code, and will ultimately prolong the life of the streets within the project limits.
Matich Corporation completed the project on August 14, 2024. The project was successfully completed for the final amount of $958,332.44, an increase of 3.8% from the original contract amount of $923,094.00 and $57,070.96 under the total authorized budget. All work has been completed to the satisfaction of the City of Fontana.
